This is the privacy statement of Biotaris B.V. It explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, why we do so and what your rights are.

What data we process
Contact form, e-mail, telephone and WhatsApp. When you send us a request through the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, company name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), country, the product you are interested in and your message. The same applies to the details you share with us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp.
We use these details only to answer your question, to prepare a quotation and, if we do business together, to carry out the agreement. The legal basis is the preparation or performance of an agreement and our legitimate interest in answering your request.
Website visits. Our web server automatically records technical data for every visit, such as your IP address, the date and time and the page requested. We use this only to keep the website secure and working properly, and we do not combine it with other data.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and does not use analytics software such as Google Analytics. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so your visit is not shared with third parties.
How long we keep your data
We keep your request and our correspondence for as long as necessary to handle it properly. Correspondence that is part of our business records is kept for at least seven years, as required by Dutch law. Web server logs are deleted after a short period.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We only use service providers that help us run our business, such as our hosting provider (Tilaa, the Netherlands) and our e-mail provider (Microsoft). If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. Send your request to info@biotaris.com. We will respond within one month.
If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, please let us know. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this privacy statement. The latest version is always available on this page.
